We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our skilled team of HVAC technicians and ensure the delivery of outstanding service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills, a technical HVAC background, and a passion for mentoring teams to exceed expectations. As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll oversee daily operations, manage scheduling, maintain quality standards, and build relationships with both team members and clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily HVAC operations, including service scheduling, dispatch, and team performance.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of HVAC technicians, ensuring their professional development and growth.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers by ensuring timely, high-quality service.
- Monitor operational metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective strategies to optimize team performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Handle customer concerns and ensure timely resolution to maintain our strong reputation in the community.
Qualifications
- Proven HVAC Experience: 5+ years of experience in the HVAC industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong Leadership Skills: Experience leading a team, driving performance, and mentoring employees.
- Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of HVAC systems, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster a positive, collaborative team environment.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot operational challenges and implement strategic solutions.
- Relevant Certifications: HVAC certifications (NATE, EPA, etc.) are a plus but not required.
- Organization: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred.
