Duties
- Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.
- Conduct repairs on appliances, fixtures, and furniture as needed.
- Install and maintain various systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Respond promptly to service requests from clients or management.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Document completed work orders and report any issues or additional repairs needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various repair techniques and building maintenance practices.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
- Certification in relevant trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical) is a plus but not mandatory.
