American Refrigeration Supplies, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of A/C and heating equipment, accessories and supplies and has been serving our customers for 85 years. We are looking for the right person to join our team in a HVAC and Refrigeration Product Manager position at our Phoenix Coporate Office. This position is full-time, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
About the Position:
To provide excellent technical refrigeration support and targeted sales to our customers by meeting their specifications to the best of our ability while maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor.
- Reports directly to the VP of Product and Technical Support
- Work closely with primary suppliers to stay informed on upcoming product offerings, issues and potential concerns.
- Assist Purchasing team in understanding which new products to offer and give input on suggested stocking levels.
- Analyze inventory and current stocking plans to ensure ARS is current and stock outs are kept at a minimum.
- Participate in supplier hosted training and conferences
- Manage Matchups in ARS Toolbox for all product categories
- Monitor availability of matched systems in DCs and in locations, especially through refrigerant transition to help ensure number of “orphaned” pieces is minimal
- Help process Labor and Equipment claims for HVAC Support Team to ensure all claims are processed within 30 days
- Watch for OSMI or AS IS/Damaged Equipment in branches and DCs and work with branches to stage “clearance sales” when needed
- Keep spreadsheet of HVAC Claims to help track types of failures by customers to help with targeted training and communicating failures to manufacturers.
- Monitor parts lists for new equipment and ensure that parts are ordered and available as needed.
- Assist with maintaining Pricing Tiers in the system
- Other duties as assigned
What we are looking for:

- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Strong computer knowledge including MS Office applications, with exceptional skills in Excel.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years HVAC or Refrigeration industry experience or degree.
- 2 years sales support or contractor support within the HVAC or Refrigeration industry.
- Extensive Knowledge within the HVAC or Refrigeration wholesale industry and contractor segment is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 per year
