Fortitude HR Solutions has been engaged to conduct a search for an EHS Manager with a strong Safety and Environmental background in a manufacturing environment. Our client, a manufacturer located on Cleveland’s near westside, has an immediate need for an EHS Manager that will partner with the plant’s leadership team and safety committees in working towards maximizing employee productivity, improving health and safety so that regulatory compliance is achieved and maintained. Additional responsibilities include:
- Complete accident investigations and prepare serious incident reports correctly.
- implement corporate driven safety programs that reduce the injury rates
- Serve as the gatekeeper for healthcare services
- Implement corporate facility safety and health technical standards
- Interacts with OSHA/EPA regarding formal complaints and inspections.
- Organize and manage Sustainability and ESG materiality assessments and stakeholder engagement reviews.
The qualified candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in safety or related field or equivalent combination of training/experience.
- 5 years’ experience in an EH&S role and a minimum of 1 years’ experience in ESG.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations is required
- Ability to work in a high pressure, urgency driven environment
- 5 years of experience creating presentations for senior teams
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $108,957.00 - $115,444.00 per year
