Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain air conditioning units effectively. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and customer service skills to ensure optimal performance and satisfaction for our clients.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues with air conditioning units, identifying problems and implementing effective solutions.
- Perform equipment repairs, including electrical components, compressors, and refrigerant lines.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in air conditioning technology.
Skills
- Proficient knowledge of air conditioning systems and HVAC principles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and property maintenance.
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Experience in appliance repair and field service operations.
- Ability to plumb as needed for HVAC installations or repairs.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a van for service calls.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
