About the team
Building a world where people can safely discover, create and connect. The Trust & Safety (T&S) team at TikTok helps ensure that our global online community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.
Job Description:
1. Complete regular assessments relating to search quality in accordance with the evaluation of standard documents
2. Use side-by-side methods to complete daily strategy assessment of search quality in accordance with evaluation standard documents
3. Judging user search needs through various queries and tools, and sorting out the classification of requirements
4. Analyze the difference between search-type results such as goods, videos, hashtags, or users and rate the quality of these results based on policies
5. Provide ideal search results and feedback suggestions for policy improvement.
6. While it is assumed the evaluator will focus on their area of expertise, there will be occasions in which he/she will work on projects outside this core area that could require other capabilities, such as using assessment methods flexibly to support related projects
7. Willing to work with sensitive issues that include child exploitation, a variety of religious and political views, violence, adult & sexual content
8. And any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Knowledge about search engines, the best way to be addicted to TikTok, and familiarity with shopping apps like Lazada or other local apps.
2. An in-depth understanding of local culture and familiarity with the Internet usage habits of local users
3. Excellent identifying problems, problem-solving skills, and learning abilities
4. Familiar with common office software, search evaluation experience is preferred
5. Excellent language skills, (language required & English)
Preferred Qualifications::
1. Overseas working/training is a plus knowledge
2. Your ability to work in a high-tempo environment, adapt, and respond to the day-to-day challenges of the role.
3. Your resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role.
