Studio 3 has offices in Los Angeles, Austin and Tampa Bay. The ideal candidate would be able to work out of our Austin office, but we are open to those who could work in our LA or Tampa Bay office.
The team:
The Email Marketing Department focuses on creating effective and engaging email campaigns that drive conversions for our clients. This area is responsible for crafting compelling content, designing visually appealing layouts, and ensuring subscribers and lists are well-maintained and kept up with optimal email deliverability and inbox placement.
We leverage data analytics to optimize performance, enhance subscriber relationships, and support overall marketing strategies. Collaborating closely with other departments and clients, we aim to deliver impactful communications that resonate with our client’s audiences and contribute to their business growth.
Responsibilities:
Department Leadership & Vision:
- Develop and set the strategic vision for the email marketing department.
- Define long-term goals and drive innovation to position the team as an industry leader.
- Ensure strategies align with overarching company growth initiatives.
Sales & Department Growth:
- Drive the sales strategy to grow the department’s residual revenue and profitability.
- Collaborate with Sales team and Account Managers to identify and secure opportunities for new email marketing business and upsells of existing clientele.
- Set revenue growth targets and ensure consistent progress toward achieving them.
- Support client upsell opportunities by showcasing the value of email marketing offerings.
Personnel Management:
- Lead hiring, talent retention, and team structure decisions for the entire department.
- Mentor team members and establish clear growth paths.
- Conduct performance evaluations, set objectives, and foster a culture of excellence.
High-Level Client Oversight and Management:
- Monitor the success of email marketing campaigns across all clients.
- Troubleshoot escalations for VIP accounts or major issues, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Advise and work with VIP clients to implement best strategies for email marketing.
- Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns and drip marketing.
- Design and create emails, templates, and similar products such as flyers.
- Write marketing emails effectively targeted to the audience and consistent with overall strategy.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in email marketing and digital marketing strategies
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms like MailChimp, Constant Contact and Klaviyo
- Strong analytical skills with experience in A/B testing
- Ability to segment customers effectively and utilize marketing automation tools
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and copywriting best practices
- Experience with Figma and Adobe Photoshop is a plus
