Our client is seeking a highly-skilled Manager of Sales – Residential. The SM is responsible for overseeing a designated market area, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a seasoned sales professional adept at building strong customer relationships and delivering high-impact results. The Sales Manager will lead a team of Account Managers, providing strategic guidance and motivation to consistently exceed sales targets.
This role is ideal for a driven sales leader with a passion for customer engagement, team development, and achieving outstanding business results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee sales programs as directed by market leadership to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Establish and maintain robust relationships within the assigned market, supporting the sales team in expanding and managing customer accounts.
- Guide the sales team in identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities within the region.
- Act as a mentor and motivator for Account Managers, inspiring them to achieve and surpass sales goals.
- Address customer concerns proactively and escalate unresolved issues to senior leadership when necessary.
- Track and manage CRM (Salesforce) utilization within the team, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Drive the adoption and effective use of various digital platforms across the sales team to optimize performance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience, with a proven history of managing sales teams in Equipment, Parts & Supplies, and Light Commercial. HVAC is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a passion for sales and team development.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and travel as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce applications.
