Ace Electrical Contractors currently has an excellent opportunity for a motivated Project Manager. This position is responsible for planning, budgeting, and overseeing electrical projects to include, but not limited to, design build, plan and specification, industrial, commercial and high-density residential.

Responsibilities:
- Assists in the interview procurement process and proposal writing for an RFP
- Assists with bids, documents and reports in an accurate, complete, and professional manner
- Secures and reviews quotes from subcontractors with the estimator on that project
- Surveys job sites as needed for scope of work and to determine the most cost effective and efficient plan possible
- Ensures all estimates and RFPs are fulfilled to the customer or Ace Electrical’s conditions for satisfaction
- Stays informed of all new electrical codes, technology, techniques, and practices
- Establishes and maintains a positive and cooperative working relationship with clients, subcontractors and co-workers
- Works with the design department on design build assist projects to assure an accurate and constructible project
- Supports programs to project a favorable image of the company with various industry groups, government agencies, general public, and clients
- Promotes the company image through exercising sound and ethical business practices as they relate to clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and the public
- Works with the project manager and chief estimator to determine the general expenses, labor rates and other costs associated with each project
- Utilizes estimating, change order and project management software to properly estimate projects
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5+ years of technical aspects of electrical estimating/project management
- Ability to read, interpret and understand electrical contracts, plans, blueprints and specifications Must have solid knowledge of electrical codes
- Strong critical thinking skills and detail orientation
- Demonstrated analytical and mathematical skills
- Previous experience using Accubid or similar estimating software, along with change order software
- Effective problem solving and time management skills, strong collaboration, teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Proficient skills in MS Office software applications
