Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various low voltage systems such as security alarms, CCTV cameras, and access control systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in IDS, blueprint reading, alarm system sales, and possess mechanical knowledge. Duties: - Install and configure low voltage systems including security alarms, CCTV cameras, and access control systems - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on low voltage systems - Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions - Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and recommend appropriate solutions - Conduct site surveys to determine optimal system placement - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations - Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns Experience: - Previous experience working with low voltage systems is required - Proficiency in IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams - Experience in alarm system sales is a plus - Mechanical knowledge for installation of equipment - Familiarity with power tools for installation purposes - Knowledge of CCTV systems and their installation requirements - Basic locksmithing skills for access control system installation - Proficiency in using hand tools for system installation and maintenance - Field service experience is preferred We offer competitive pay based on experience and skills. Qualifications
