ControlAir Systems in partnership with Crete United is seeking an experienced Lead Commercial HVAC Service technician who is interested in finding a team where they can further develop their skills and help lead a growing team with an excellent customer base. In this role, you will be a lead technician working alongside seasoned technicians on commercial equipment including Packaged Rooftop Units, VRF Systems, Split Systems, and more. Job Description:
- Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and residential customers. Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
- Travel to job sites in the service area, and work with dispatch to ensure the schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customers.
- Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary,
- reporting any mechanical issues and filling out and submitting monthly vehicle inspection form. Vehicles should be washed on a regular basis.
- Lead a small team of Service HVAC Technicians.
HVAC Service Technician Qualifications:
- Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
- Must have minimum 10 years of HVAC Service experience.
- On call schedule rotating every 8 weeks.
- Valid driver's license
- Valid EPA Certificate.
- Ability to pass Background / Drug Screen.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
