RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities of the Divisional Sales Manager include, but are not limited to:
Team/People Management
- Ability to lead and develop Territory Managers
- Collaborate with the executive team in developing strategy and execution to achieve area and company objectives
- Communicate effectively goals and expectations to individuals and teams
- Hold teams/individuals accountable by coaching and conducting performance reviews
- Hold relationships with the top 10 customers in the region
- Coach and train teams with effective communication to motivate, commit, and exceed sales goals
Strategic Sales
- Accountable for revenue generation, customer base expansion, and market share objectives
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth
- Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to ensure sales team performance
- Manages and champions the Johnstone Supply value proposition and brand within the existing market
- Oversees the creation of bids, sales quotes, and proposals
- Maintains awareness of competitor pricing, product lines, and value propositions
- Plans and coordinates contractor training on products and Johnstone Supply
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Work
- Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align divisional strategies with company-wide initiatives
- Provide insights and feedback from the field to support product development, marketing campaigns, and customer support improvements

QUALIFICATIONS Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience of complex selling in business-to-business product sales
- Minimum of 5 years experience in sales management
- Proficiency with computers and different software programs
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Preferred
- HVAC industry, distribution, and logistics experience
- Master's degree in Business, Marketing
- Strong knowledge of Eclipse (CRM)
