We are a franchise car dealership seeking an experienced and innovative Automotive General Manager with a strong focus on leveraging technology to drive operational efficiency, enhance the customer experience, and increase dealership profitability. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking leader, adept at integrating digital tools, data analytics, and cutting-edge technologies to manage all dealership operations, including sales, service, and marketing.
Responsibilities
- Lead the dealership with a tech-driven approach, integrating digital tools and emerging technologies to meet business goals and drive innovation
- Oversee daily operations, optimizing tech-driven processes in inventory, CRM, and service scheduling to boost efficiency, cut costs, and improve customer experience
- Ensure seamless integration of online and in-store sales through digital platforms, virtual showrooms, and AI-driven engagement
- Enhance the customer journey by blending digital and in-person sales, offering personalized recommendations and smooth transitions
- Collaborate with marketing on targeted ads, SEO, and social media strategies to attract and retain customers
- Train and mentor the sales team on digital tools, fostering a culture of continuous learning and adaptability to new tech and sales strategies
- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing concerns and feedback promptly and professionally
- Oversee inventory management, optimize vehicle selection, and set pricing in collaboration with the sales team
- Build and maintain strong vendor and manufacturer relationships, negotiating favorable terms and agreements
- Monitor finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense control, making data-driven decisions from financial reports
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, implementing and enforcing dealership policies and procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of automotive management experience, with proven leadership success
- Proficient in digital tools, CRM systems, inventory management, and sales analytics platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Automotive Management, or related field (preferred)
- Strong leadership, motivation, and mentoring skills in a tech-driven environment
- Professional, positive, and outgoing personality with a polished appearance
- Excellent customer service, follow-up, and communication skills
- Available to work Saturdays
- Valid driver’s license
