Job Description:
Field of Greens is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager of operations across all locations and assist with the opening and management of new locations. Reporting directly to the owners, the GM will ensure day-to-day efficiency, compliance with health and safety regulations, and exceptional customer experiences.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience opening new locations, overseeing construction projects, and managing growth initiatives. A background in construction management or familiarity with restaurant buildouts is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
- Supervise daily operations across all Field of Greens locations to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Oversee the opening of new locations, including coordinating construction, managing timelines, and overseeing team recruitment and training.
- Implement and maintain detailed daily tracking logs to monitor metrics like inventory, sales, labor, and spoilage.
New Location Development:
- Collaborate with ownership and contractors on restaurant buildouts, remodeling, or expansion projects.
- Oversee budgets, construction schedules, and operational readiness for new locations.
- Manage the handoff from construction to full operational launch, ensuring a smooth transition.
Inventory Management & Food Ordering:
- Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and maintain optimal stock.
- Track vendor schedules and delivery accuracy in daily logs.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and team training to ensure standards are met.
Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and mentor store managers and team members to build a strong, motivated workforce.
- Lead staff for new location openings to ensure operational excellence from Day 1.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with ownership to align on growth strategies and business objectives.
- Identify operational and cost improvement opportunities across all locations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-location restaurant management or a similar role.
- Proven experience opening and managing new locations.
- Background or understanding of construction processes related to restaurant buildouts (preferred).
- - Strong knowledge of health, safety, and food service regulations.
- Leadership, team-building, and project management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in construction management or overseeing commercial buildout projects.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, especially when managing multiple projects.
