Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Install Field Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to read and interpret schematics. As an HVAC Install Field Manager, you will be responsible for leading the installation crews to ensure that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems are installed correctly and operate efficiently.
This role requires a combination of hands-on technical expertise, leadership, a safety mindset with a passion for keeping team members safe and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. The Install Field Manager will work closely with other departments to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, and will play a key role in training and mentoring team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the HVAC installation team, including scheduling, project management, and quality control
- Ensure all installations are completed according to local codes, company standards, and client requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to installation technicians, troubleshooting complex issues as needed.
- Coordinate with customers, builders, and general contractors to ensure a smooth installation process and high levels of client satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for installation materials and equipment.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring new installation technicians, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety within the installation department.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in HVAC in system installations.
- 2+ years of leadership or managerial experience, preferably in an HVAC installation role.
- Strong understanding of local HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex installation issues.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
