Responsibilities of the General Manager include:
- Achieving targeted financial performance including revenue and profit growth.
- Developing and implementing strategies for sales growth and managing the sales team.
- Deliver timely call answering, exceptional customer service and execution of dispatch guidelines by customer service representatives and dispatchers.
- Leading, motivating, training and developing team members.
- Overseeing the installation, repair, and maintenance of heating and cooling systems.
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of heating and cooling technicians and staff.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitoring market trends and adapting to changing business needs.
- Conducting regular inspections to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
- Managing and building professional relationships with vendors and partners.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for this role include:
- Proven track record as General Manager for a residential heating and cooling business.
- Success growing revenue and profit for a residential heating and cooling business.
- Experience leading managers, technicians, installers, customer service representatives and dispatchers.
- 10 years’ HVAC experience with knowledge of HVAC systems including design and troubleshooting.
- Outstanding leadership and communication abilities.
- Capacity to perform effectively under pressure and time management to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Ability to utilize the latest technologies, including Apple devices, for communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- Capability to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
