ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Takes both phone calls and emails from the field and provides technical expertise to resolve product and installation issues
- Evaluates returned products and identify and troubleshoot product or installation failures
- Provides product and installation training/education for customer service agents, sales agents, wholesalers, and contractors
- Performs product and installation seminars and demonstrations
- Supports Customer Service Specialists – Takes incoming sales calls, emails, and faxes. Helps RMA processing, provides walk-in customer technical and sales support
- Participates in sales calls with Sales Department personnel and sales agents
- Assists the Engineering & Sales Department in product strategies
- Assists the Operations Department in corporate product development and quality assurance
- Communicates product and customer concerns to the appropriate corporate personnel
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Familiar to HVAC or related products
- Excellent communication skills including verbal and written
- Ability to present as a polished professional representative when interacting with customers
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- When not handling tech support calls, skills to contribute with lab testing and engineering support
- Strong computer skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office package
- Customer Service oriented
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage several tasks concurrently
- Proven problem-solving skills are required
