Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to oversee our service & installation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery while managing a team of technicians from the field. This role requires a strong understanding of the Boiler/HVAC trade, trouble-shooting and diagnostic skills and management level experience in customer service necessary to enhance overall efficiency of our daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist our dispatcher in planning & managing a daily schedule, ensuring timely and efficient execution of assignments. This includes the appointment(s) of the proper technician(s) for a particular assignment.
- Supervise and train service/installation technicians, providing guidance & assistance on boiler/HVAC repair, maintenance and installation.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including cash handling and invoicing.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all service activities.
- Collaborate with management to promote efficient and accurate services and address customer inquiries & concerns effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections of technicians work vehicles to insure they are properly maintained and adequately stocked.
- Participate in weekly meetings providing a synopsis of field activities, concerns and needs. Be able to produce and provide a report for discussion purposes.
- You will be expected to operate in the field, as an active member of the service and installation team, however the majority will be in a supervisory role. This will include, but is not limited to: follow up, conflict resolution, problem solving and other such lead roles.
Experience
- Proven experience in a Boiler/HVAC service and/or installation management role or similar capacity.
- Strong knowledge of service & installation processes and industry maintenance standards.
- Familiarity with trade related CMS systems such as Service Titan, FieldEdge or Payzerware.
- Proficiency in Boiler/HVAC diagnostics and repair techniques is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to transmit information clearly to both customers and team members.
- Experience in equipment sales is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $73,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
