We are seeking an experienced, licensed HVAC Foreman/Project Manager to oversee and manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for both commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to pull permits for work in accordance with local codes and regulations. This role involves supervising HVAC teams, coordinating with clients, and ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Oversee and manage HVAC installations, repairs, and maintenance projects for both commercial and residential properties.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop project timelines and manage resources effectively to meet deadlines.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project success.
- Supervision & Leadership:
- Lead and supervise a team of HVAC technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and safety compliance.
- Conduct daily site inspections and maintain quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members have the necessary resources and equipment.
- Permit Acquisition:
- Pull and manage necessary permits for HVAC installations and repairs, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Work closely with local authorities to ensure timely approval of permits.
- Maintain records of all permits and inspections for each project.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on project status, timelines, and any issues that may arise.
- Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly, maintaining strong customer satisfaction.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA and other safety standards.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety meetings.
- Ensure that all HVAC systems are installed and serviced in accordance with relevant codes and industry best practices.
- Technical Expertise:
- Diagnose and resolve complex HVAC system issues.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and specifications to ensure installations meet client and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all equipment and systems are installed and functioning correctly.
Qualifications:
- Licenses & Certifications:
- Current HVAC license (required).
- Ability to pull permits and work with local municipalities (required).
- EPA certification for refrigerant handling (preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and project management, preferably in both commercial and residential settings.
- Previous experience as an HVAC Foreman or Project Manager, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish.

- Proficiency in HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to HVAC work.
- Ability to pull and manage permits, and work with local authorities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs).
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
