GM Role Job Description
At DLV Roofing, we’re not just filling a General Manager position; we’re inviting a partner to join us in our mission to serve and grow. As a Top 100, third-generation roofing company with over 25 years of experience, we are on the way to Top 50 by expanding into new markets. We are looking for a General Manager with an owner/operator mentality that can lead explosive growth while serving our communities with excellence.
With existing operations in Texas (Dallas, Houston, Austin), North and South Carolina (Asheville, Charleston), we are growing in the following states/cities; Georgia (Atlanta), Tennessee (Nashville), North Carolina (Charlotte), and Indiana (Indianapolis).
DLV is different. We are seeking leaders in the roofing and related industries that are looking for equity ownership opportunities in our business. If you are looking for a job, we may not a good fit.
Your role includes but is not limited to:
· Represent the DLV brand and our mission - to serve.
· Find, Get and Keep the BEST Talent.
· Sell roofs. We provide services in new construction, re-roofs and repair and maintenance. We provide these services in both the residential and commercial space.
· Install roofs well. Our brand and reputation require us to only use the best materials and labor to do the job, RIGHT. We do roofs…We do them well.
· Own your business as a GM. You will lead a team of outside and inside salespeople, project managers and administrative staff. You will select only the best subcontractors for your projects. Our HUB locations have full metal production capabilities, offering what most other roofers can’t.
· Be accountable for EBITDA and Cash Flow generation, including the end-to-end management of your cash flow and P/L.
· We need someone that can open a market and be at a breakeven point within 60 days. Can you move that fast?
· We aren’t looking for employees, we are looking for partners.
Your income is derived from a generous base, net profit share annually and equity in your operating location.
What we look for in a candidate.
· 5 plus years leadership experience.
· 5 plus years in roofing-related industry. (Preferred)
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
· Owner vs. employee mentality. You will be asked for specific examples of this.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
