Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team. As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the housekeeping operations to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for our guests. Your leadership skills and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are cleaned and maintained according to established guidelines
- Coordinate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to address guest requests and resolve any issues or concerns
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Respond promptly to guest feedback and take appropriate action to address any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with the hotel management team to develop and implement strategies for improving housekeeping operations
Experience:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations, including cleaning techniques, laundry procedures, and inventory management
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proven track record of maintaining high cleanliness standards in a commercial setting
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
