Position Overview:
As a Car Key Sales Technician, you’ll be at the forefront of our customer interactions, delivering top-notch service while executing technical locksmith tasks. This hands-on role combines sales expertise with technical proficiency, making it a unique and rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about problem-solving and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automotive Locksmith Services:
- Program car keys and remotes, re-key, and cut keys to code.
- Create and configure automotive transponder keys for vehicles.
- Sales and Customer Engagement:
- Identify customer needs, recommend solutions, and build strong relationships to close sales.
- Manage sales of products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Inventory and Vehicle Maintenance:
- Maintain on-site inventory and accurate sales logs.
- Conduct regular audits and ensure the company vehicle is well-maintained and prepared for daily use.
- Technical Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve product issues efficiently.
- Keep up-to-date with new features and product launches.
- Customer Records Management:
- Document and update customer interactions and records accurately.
Qualifications:
- Proven customer service and sales experience with a focus on relationship building.
- Background in automotive, installation, sales, or related fields is preferred.
- Responsible, reliable, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift car hoods, disconnect batteries, and comfortably enter/exit vehicles.
- Willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius to assist customers or support other locations when needed.
- Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
