Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for building and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves working with various HVAC equipment, performing repairs, and ensuring optimal system performance. The HVAC Technician will also be responsible for adhering to safety standards and regulations while providing excellent service to our clients.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including heating units, air conditioning units, and refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshoot issues using tools such as an Ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components.
- Perform welding tasks as necessary for repairs or installations.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.
- Plumb various components as needed for system integration.
- Safely handle refrigerants in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Drive company vehicles to transport tools and equipment to job sites.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to build, repair, and maintain HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
