HVAC Technician

$40 - $42.50 per hour + Benefits & Overtime
Our client are looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to join a existing team on a covering a several prestigious commercial spaces across the Chicagoland area.
The successful candidate will complete planned and reactive maintenance, minor installations, regular services, and repairs to heating and air conditioning systems and will also support with other aspects of building systems work when required.
The position includes:
- Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing heating and cooling systems.
- Furnaces, condensers, split units, and minor boiler work
- Ability to understand, modify settings and set points, and modify a building automation system (BAS)
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion.
- Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
The successful candidate will be EPA Universal Certified.
