Residential HVAC Technician

The Position:
In this technician role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC equipment to ensure our customers' homes stay comfortable.
Responsibilities:
- Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning ducts, or refilling non-toxic refrigerants
· -Perform preventative maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance
- Provide excellent customer service, clearly explaining issues and solutions to homeowner
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
- Knowledge of: Rheem, Carrier, Trane, Ruud, Lennox, Goodman, American Standard, Daiken, Bryant and Ameristar.
- Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction
- Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks using a pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution
- Test electrical circuits or components for continuity using electrical test equipment
- Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
- Respond to emergency maintenance / repair requests
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Ability to fabricate ductwork and fittings
- Duct cleaning and sanitizing the system
- Should be willing to do new AC installation by themselves (helper if needed)
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC equipment
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- EPA Universal Certification
- Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds
- Have own set of tools

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
