Position: Service Manager
Purpose:
To lead and support the service team while ensuring operational excellence, adherence to company policies, and alignment with Sierra Air Conditioning and Plumbing’s mission and vision.
Expectations:
- Support department by leading other technicians on Sierra Air Conditioning and Plumbing’s processes and procedures.
- Set the example in line with company vision and mission.
- Lead the service team to produce revenue in line with the company’s financial goals.
- Identify and mentor technicians to become future leaders within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that technicians are following company policies and procedures.
- Conduct weekly One-on-Ones and weekly vehicle inspections consistently.
- Lead training of sales, communication, and technical skills for new hires and team members.
- Collaborate with other managers to ensure all departments work cohesively.
- Provide technical support to technicians at any hour they are working.
Measurements of Performance:
- Key KPIs: revenue production, conversion rate, average ticket, and return call percentage of the team.
- Flip rate on opportunity calls.
- Department culture and retention.
- Ability to lead and train technicians effectively.
Essential Skills Required:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of Sierra Air Conditioning and Plumbing’s processes, procedures, and warranties.
- Technical knowledge of common HVAC systems, operations, parts, and diagnostics.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 3 year in HVAC and 2 years in management
Ability to communicate well and work collaboratively within a team.
Total understanding and buy-in of Nexstar and Service MVP programs.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
