BB Mechanical LLC. is looking for an experienced and dedicated Service Tech Manager to join our growing team. This leadership role is ideal for someone with a strong background in both plumbing and HVAC systems, who excels in managing teams, ensuring top-quality service, and driving operational excellence.
As a Service Tech Manager, you will oversee a team of skilled HVAC and plumbing technicians, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery, while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of technical expertise, team leadership, and a passion for delivering high-quality service.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of HVAC and plumbing technicians.
- Ensure timely and high-quality service for all customer calls, including installations, repairs, and routine maintenance.
- Review work orders and job schedules, dispatching technicians and prioritizing urgent jobs.
- Provide technical guidance and training to technicians to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Oversee troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution of complex plumbing and HVAC issues.
- Review and approve estimates, ensuring that all services are priced accurately and competitively.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints, ensuring all issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback, coaching, and corrective action when needed.
- Maintain service records, job logs, and customer data in the service management system.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Track inventory and manage equipment and tools to ensure technicians have what they need for each job.
- Work closely with upper management to develop and implement strategies for business growth and operational improvements.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in plumbing and HVAC services, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Certified HVAC Technician (EPA certification required, NATE certification preferred).
- Licensed Plumber (Journeyman or Master status preferred).
- Proven experience in managing service teams and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Strong technical knowledge in both plumbing (e.g., pipe installations, repairs, water heater systems) and HVAC (e.g., air conditioning, heating systems, refrigerants).
- Solid understanding of local building codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple service requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and employees.
- Experience with service management software (e.g., ServiceTitan, Jobber, or similar).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including occasional evening and weekend hours.
- Background check and drug screening required.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
