Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This role requires a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and the ability to work with various tools and technologies. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete electrical installations and renovations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic equipment such as an Ohmmeter.
- Work with low voltage systems and logic controllers to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to coordinate work on construction projects.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing electrical tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices or less experienced electricians as needed.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
- Experience in renovating and building electrical systems for various applications.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems, logic controllers, and their applications in modern electrical installations.
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools such as an Ohmmeter.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a maintenance person mentality for addressing unexpected challenges on the job site.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
