We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive service and repair, demonstrating proficiency in diagnostics and maintenance of various vehicle systems. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including but not limited to oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations.
- Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to execute repairs accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding their vehicle's needs, providing detailed explanations of services performed.
- Work with power tools and specialized equipment safely and efficiently.
- Align wheels and perform suspension work as required.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and diesel engine repair techniques.
Experience
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
- Familiarity with customer service best practices in an automotive environment is a plus.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools related to automotive repair.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive service are advantageous.
