Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, including commercial plumbing and maintenance. This role requires the ability to read schematics, perform heavy lifting, and utilize hand tools effectively. The Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems according to specifications and local codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for various plumbing tasks.
- Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.
- Weld pipes as needed for specific installations or repairs.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing work.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial plumbing with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
