Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set and be able to perform various maintenance and repair tasks efficiently. This role requires a proactive individual who is detail-oriented and can work independently or as part of a team. The Handy Man will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standards, contributing to the overall functionality and aesthetics of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
- Utilize tools and equipment effectively, including an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects as needed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices while performing tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment, particularly an ohmmeter.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
