Flying Squirrel Lutz/Tampa is located at22930 FL-54, Lutz, FL 33549. Our Park is a spring-loaded urban playground with a variety of attractions.
The General Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating operations as well as overseeing the general operations of the Park.
The General Manager will be under the supervision of the Regional Manager.
The duties and responsibilities of the General Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Greet and interact with customers and visitors to the Park in a professional and friendly manner;
- Answer general phone inquiries, relay calls to the appropriate recipient, and return phone calls in a timely, professional, and courteous manner;
- Respond to customer inquiries (e.g. pricing, hours, appropriate attire, directions, parties, fundraising opportunities, events, policies, general company information, etc.);
- Implement progressive discipline when necessary;
- Administer the company’s performance management system;
- Assist with recruitment, including writing and posting of positions, resume and candidate tracking, prescreening, and interviewing of candidates for all positions;
- Respond to customer issues, suggestions, or complaints;
- Respond to customer injuries and complete incident reports pursuant to the company’s prescribed policies;
- Complete clerical functions, such as general keyboarding and computer work.
- Ensure vendors and suppliers are properly compensated in a timely manner;
- Assess on an ongoing basis vendor return on investment in order to meet the needs of the Company;
- Track and coordinate staff schedules to ensure proper staffing at the Park ;
- Maintain and updating all surveillance equipment and software;
- Oversee building maintenance (e.g. court, trampoline, etc.) and;
- Supervise all positions to ensure responsibilities are being fulfilled.
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a management capacity, preferably in the Entertainment Facility field;
- High-school diploma or equivalent GED;
- Able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal);
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Accountable and dependable;
- Able to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently;
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer proficiency skills.
- Experience with Google Drive a plus.
- Attention to detail and quality of work;
- Good organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills;
- Able to demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic;
- Ability to multi-task and delegate tasks is a must.
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends and some Holidays as scheduling may dictate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
