Position Overview:
As the HVAC Technical Training Manager, you will develop and manage training programs that ensure our technicians are equipped with the skills and knowledge to maintain our high standards of service. What You’ll Do:
- Create and Deliver Training: Develop comprehensive training programs for new and existing technicians, focusing on HVAC installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Deliver training through in-person and virtual formats.
- Assess Training Needs: Identify skill gaps and customize training plans to meet the needs of different technician levels.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with field operations and leadership to ensure training aligns with company goals and service standards.
- Measure Training Effectiveness: Use feedback and performance metrics to evaluate and refine training programs for maximum impact.
- Provide Field Support: Offer hands-on training and mentorship to technicians in the field, ensuring training translates into improved performance.
- Ensure Safety Compliance: Enforce safety standards and company policies during training, ensuring all programs meet regulatory requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 5 years managing an in-house technical training program
- 5+ years in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair
- A combination of experience and education: A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage training projects
- Proven leadership in creating and delivering effective training
- HVAC certifications (NATE, EPA) are a plus!
