Summary:

The Service Technician with Control wiring and Safety Circuit expertise is part of the Operations Team. They work in the field and are responsible for preventative maintenance, diagnosing and resolving issues with material handling equipment, loading dock equipment and a variety of industrial/commercial doors. The ideal person for this position will have the ability to disassemble equipment, diagnose and repair any issues with it, and reassemble the equipment to running order.

We are looking to fill this position in both our New Hampshire and Massachusetts locations.

Responsibilities:

· Control Wiring and Safety Circuit troubleshooting and repair

· Evaluate and diagnose technical problems and determine proper repair/solutions

· Perform installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance service to doors, dock equipment and various other material handling equipment

· Reading and understanding schematics for a variety of products

· Operate vehicle in a safe manner

· Build positive relationships with customers by providing outstanding and excellent service

· Comply with company safety procedures

Requirements:

· Strong electro-mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience

· Control Wiring and Safety Circuit expertise

· Ability to disassemble and reassemble machinery

· Professional demeanor in all customer and company encounters

· Initiative-taking, team player, with ability to work with minimal supervision

· Dependable, excellent attendance and punctual time record

· Hydraulic pump experience is a plus

· Millwright experience is a plus

· Experience with Pneumatics is a plus

· Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record

· Strong communication skills

· Able to stand for hours at a time and climb ladders, comfortable with heights

· Proficient using power tools and hand tools

· Technical degree or certification a plus

· Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen

· Must be at least 18 years old

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds

· DOT Medical Card will be required, if you do not have one you will need to obtain one the first day of employment

· OSHA 10 will be required, if you do not have one you will be set up to take the test the first week of employment
