Denron Hall is seeking full-time apprentice and journeyman HVAC Installers to join our expanding team. This position will report to the Service Manager. In this role the successful candidate will be tasked with HVAC installation in our small projects division within the service department.
Job Description/Duties:
- 5+ years of ACR piping experience
- Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures within Refrigeration/HVAC industry
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, rough sketches and/or engineer drawings for proper installation
- Ability to delegate and assign tasks to apprentices while ensuring proper completion within a timely manner
- Ability to work as part of the team, with contractors, and other trades
- Communicate all progress/changes and complications with the foreman and/or project supervisor
- Punctuality, dependability and a positive work ethic are essential for this role
Skills & Competencies:
- Installation of full refrigeration piping systems
- Soldering, brazing, and knowledge of how to use press tools/fittings
- Leak test systems with nitrogen
- Evacuate and charge systems with refrigerant
- Basic HVAC service/controls experience
Required Certifications:
- EPA Universal Certificate
Preferred but not required:
- MA Commercial Refrigeration
Supervisory Responsibility:
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift & carry 50 pounds
- Prolonged periods of standing/walking
- Often squatting, reaching and working overhead
- Work at varying heights while on a ladder
- Ability to work in all indoor and outdoor climates year-round

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
