With a comprehensive portfolio of products, UAC serves nearly all vehicles in operation through a variety of channels, including U.S. warehouse distributors, export warehouse distributors, A/C specialists, national franchises, and more. Based in Mansfield, TX, UAC serves over 600 customers annually, providing high-quality solutions that meet the needs of the automotive aftermarket industry.
We are seeking a Catalog Manager to oversee the integrity, accuracy, and growth of our extensive product catalog. This role is essential for ensuring our customers have the correct, up-to-date information to select the right products for their vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
Catalog Management:
- Manage and maintain UAC’s extensive catalog of HVAC and engine cooling parts, ensuring accuracy in data, applications, and cross-references.
- Develop and implement processes to regularly update and verify catalog content in alignment with industry standards (ACES and PIES).
- Collaborate with Product Development, Engineering, and Sales teams to incorporate new products and phase out obsolete ones efficiently.
- Monitor competitive catalogs and market trends to identify opportunities for product additions or enhancements.
Data and Systems Oversight:
- Leverage intermediate IT skills (SQL, Excel, etc.) to manage catalog data efficiently across internal systems and platforms.
- Work with the IT and Technology teams to optimize catalog tools, integrations, and data reporting.
- Troubleshoot catalog discrepancies and ensure system integrity.
Team Collaboration:
- Act as the liaison between UAC’s engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure alignment on product data.
- Support marketing efforts by providing detailed product data for digital and print publications.
- Train team members and stakeholders on catalog system functionalities and data management practices.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Automotive Expertise:
- Managed a large dealership service center with prior hands-on experience as a technician, OR
- Managed a team of engineers at an auto parts manufacturer with a background as an engineer, OR
- Held a Store Manager or Regional Manager role at an auto parts retailer, with years of experience using parts catalogs.
- Catalog Management:
- Demonstrated experience managing large product catalogs in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.).
- Familiarity with industry catalog standards, including ACES and PIES (preferred).
Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
