The Service Manager directs all Field Operations for the Service Department. The Service Manager ensures work is performed safely, efficiently, professionally, and in compliance with project, customer, and Company standards / requirements.
Job Duties
· Responsible for all service operations. Supervise work of Service Technicians and helpers. Manages work schedules and assign resources.
· Perform required Service Department administrative duties. Review completed work order packet to make sure technician listed information necessary to invoice. Provide problem solving assistance to Operations in billing and collection situations.
· Ensure pre-task planning is consistently done; turn over meetings are held as needed, incidental material and equipment ordered correctly and timely and crews are well prepared to work efficiently. Perform Quality Control duties; ensure specifications, code, customer, and company standards are met.
· Provide technical and problem resolution assistance to Service Technicians. Directly supervise critical work situations and perform hands-on work as required. Perform job-site visits and provide estimating for service opportunities.
· Evaluate the performance and results of the personnel under his/her direction. Hire, coach, train, discipline, and terminate Service Technicians as needed. Ensure all Service Technicians are properly trained and certified as required.
· Make customer sales calls or instruct technician to gather details to prepare estimated proposals as requested by customer to deliver profitable revenue opportunities to the business.
· Expand and develop a diverse customer base.
Qualifications
· Must possess Service Manager experience, a minimum current Journeyman’s Electricians license and have comprehensive knowledge of electrical trades to translate the needs of the customer into profitable opportunities.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
