Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and hospitality, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our team operates efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
Duties
- Lead and manage all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including staff management, budgeting, and cash handling.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and improve overall service quality.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and development of staff to ensure a motivated and skilled team.
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Monitor financial performance, including sales, expenses, and profitability metrics.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members. Lead by example with a great attitude!
- Utilize Toast POS system for efficient order processing and cash management.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and budgeting practices.
- Knowledge of culinary practices is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by business needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges in operations.
