Company Overview
Founded in 1993, In Control, Inc. is a leading automation controls system integrator serving the water and wastewater, utility markets in the upper Midwest and Great Plains regions. We take pride in providing excellent design, panel production, control system programming, system start-up, and follow-on support to customers. Our deeply experienced staff includes Professional Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Master Electricians, Computer Science/IT/Networking Engineers, Radio Telemetry Specialists, and Manufacturing Technicians. We highly value our employees as they are the core of our ability to deliver superior quality solutions to our customers. Our continued growth has created the need for an Electrical Designer to join our Design Team.
Our Electrical Drafters and Designers perform a crucial role in our company, producing detailed electrical schematics and panel layout drawings from plans and specifications provided by customers and equipment manufacturers. Completing a full design in a thorough and detailed manner consistent with internal standards is critical to ensure efficient, high-quality purchasing, assembly, and PLC programming for our customers. To be successful, candidates should have experience with drafting, rigorous attention to detail, an aptitude for learning new equipment and design standards, and the ability to self-manage work with limited supervision.
