We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional service, managing staff, and driving profitability. You will work closely with the owners and other team members to create a positive dining experience for our customers while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations, to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Train, supervise, and mentor staff, including servers, bartenders, chefs, and support staff, to provide exceptional customer service and maintain consistent performance.
- Monitor and manage inventory, including food and beverage supplies, to minimize waste, control costs, and maintain adequate stock levels.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner, and take appropriate actions to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Create and maintain staff schedules, oversee employee time and attendance, and manage labor costs to meet budget targets.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback, coaching, and training to improve staff performance and productivity.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and customer preferences, and make recommendations for improvements and innovations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant General Manager or in a similar leadership role in the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing restaurant operations, achieving revenue targets, and controlling costs.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, employees, and vendors.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, health codes, and restaurant industry best practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, as needed.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and restaurant management software.
- Food handler's certification and alcohol service certification, as required by local regulations.
