Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced General Superintendent to oversee the construction of ground-up multi-family projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. Specifically a 3 building apartment complex on a large property in Lake Worth, this includes a clubhouse and a man-made lake.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of multi-family construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and labor force on-site.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Manage project schedules and work timelines effectively.
- Communicate project expectations and updates to project stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
- Implement cost control measures to manage project budgets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, specifically in multi-family projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience with garden-style and podium construction preferred.
- Familiarity with condominium and apartment projects is a plus.
- Certifications related to construction management are advantageous.
