We are a well-established family owned logistics company who is looking to fill a Dispatcher position at our Austin (Round Rock) office. The successful candidate would have Logistics/local freight dispatch experience and would be responsible for but not limited to the below list
- Assisting with and/or completing quotes upon customer request
- Clear & concise communication to customers, coworkers, and drivers
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office products which includes Outlook, Word, Excel
- Dispatch office administrative duties which may include billing and/or rate verification
- Job document handling and accountability
- Awareness of equipment needs and tracking of personnel on dispatch board
- Cohesive interaction within our team environment focusing on the family atmosphere and getting job done
- Material and product management
- Compliance with DOT, TSA and OSHA safety standards
- Excellent communications skills
- Attention to details
The right person would possess the ability of multi-tasking along with continuing to be pliable and focused on driving the operation forward. Having clear honest communication to your team, customer base and contractors is an imperative part of the job. You should have a proven job record and reliability along with verifiable computer skills (typing, 10 key, Excel, Word, Outlook, and TMS).
