Description:
The HVAC Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs to the Medical Center’s HVAC and refrigeration systems, including associated mechanical equipment and utilities. The HVAC Tech ensures the uninterrupted, efficient and safe operation of all boilers, heating, air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, and mechanical systems.
This is a Full-time position, 7am-3:30pm with rotating weekends and Holidays

Education and/or Experience
- Training and coordination sufficient to handle various specialized tools and equipment
- Technical Degree required
- EPA Certification for safe handling of refrigerants required
- Certification in Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, and Refrigeration required
- City of Chicago Stationary Engineer’s License preferred
- Up to three years previous experience in the field of HVAC required and 3+ years preferred
