*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Branch Manager to lead our team and oversee the operations of our branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership skills and a strategic mindset to effectively manage resources and achieve organizational goals.
*Duties*
- Lead all operational functions, including distribution operations, inventory accuracy, customer service, branch administration, and inside sales.
- Empower personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation.
- Foster clear communication between sales personnel and other departments.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and uphold meticulous record-keeping standards.
- Embrace and adapt positively to change for continuous improvement.
- Proactively address discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper maintenance of facilities, vehicles and safety procedures.
- Share best practices with personnel, other branches and senior management.
- Enhance branch and company reputation through building relationships with dealers and customers.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and business objectives.
- Other duties as assigned by upper management.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Oversees the daily workflow of the branch.
- Provides constructive and timely feedback on employee performance to include disciplinary action.
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in partnership with HR.
*Education & Experience*
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Proven leadership and management experience: previous experience as a branch manager is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent computer skills including strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and staff at all levels; good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem solving, organizational skills, attention to detail, good reasoning ability and sound judgement.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity.
- Able to lift 50 pounds and operate a forklift with company certification.
