Position Responsibilities
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform this job are typically acquired through a minimum of two years progressively responsible experience in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and healthcare facilities maintenance. Knowledge of computer based, specialized control systems and their programming. Knowledge and proficient with basic HVAC equipment to include air balancing equipment, temperature control calibration tools, power and hand tools, reclamation equipment, and brazing and welding equipment. Knowledge of computer based, specialized control systems and their programming. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and to problem solve
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent. Certified by an Environmental Protection Agency approved technician certification program. Knowledge of HVAC Technology, equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regionally accredited trade program.
- Current CFC (Chlorofluorocarbons) certification or obtained within the first 120 days of employment.
