Entry Level HVAC Technician
Arras Air is seeking a professional that enjoys what they do, has a curious mind, and considers this line of work a career and not just a job.
This is an entry-level position; we're looking for individuals who have an interest in the field and want to learn more as they go.
Job Duties
· Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment, including filter replacements/cleaning, condensate drain clearing, coil washing, and minor repairs under the guidance of more experienced technicians.
· Travel to job sites and work with the service manager to ensure schedules and appointments are maintained and delays are properly communicated
· Maintain good working order of company vehicle, including refueling when needed and reporting mechanical issues
· Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment
· Document all installed equipment: make, model, serial number, and pictures as necessary
· Join on-call rotation
· Maintain communication with dispatch and service manager
Skill Set
· Basic understanding of and an inclination to work with and around mechanical equipment.
· Excellent people skills
· Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time
Other Requirements
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
· Valid social security number
· Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights and in small crawl spaces
· Observe company procedures and safety rules
· Maintain accurate records
