General Manager/Director of Growth and Operations/COO
This is a true integrator role. Taking ideas and executing on the “how” to grow and scale the business.
I am looking for someone strong in operations, able to manage people well, and detail-oriented.
This is an exciting role on the ground floor of a company where you can make your mark and share in the profit. We are good at what we do currently, but want to improve and go to the next level.
Note, this is a smaller base salary role. Through profit sharing of new initiatives and better operations, $100,000+ total income is expected.
What the job entails:
- Working closely with Owner/lead agent. Prioritize and execute the business plan of the owner/visionary
- Helping to filter the visionary ideas to focus on what’s most important for the business
- Loves processes and can help develop ways to hold people accountable to metrics, sales, and transaction processes
- Participating in ways to profitably grow the business, while retaining our high levels of customer service
- You will report directly to the owner. Sales and admin will report to you
- Tracking track of expenses
- Knowing and articulating data and/or financial metrics. Line of sight to create more profitable growth
- Developing and running recruiting, training, and onboarding processes
- Someone who can manage a staff and clearly communicate goals
- See bottlenecks and create new ways to improve efficiency and delegate
- Don’t have to have an agent license. It's nice to have, but not a must. We are looking for your skillset that will apply across industries
- Find new lead sources and understand which ones are best for the business
- Improve efficiency in the owner's current business. How time and business are managed day-to-day
- Must be a good communicator, be friendly, and know technology. Be able to grasp new software systems and Google Suite
- Bonus if familiar with EOS framework
- Comfortable leading meetings
- Comfortable talking with clients
Compensation:
$100,000 - $120,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Day in the life:
- Leading daily operations of business. Tracking leads, transactions, internal meetings, and execution of all functions of the business
- Being a stopgap for agents/sales staff
- Keeping track of metrics, processes, and financials
- Executing special projects and initiatives
- General operations of the business

- You are kind, have integrity, and care about people. Can adapt communication style to different people. Comfortable with taking and providing honest feedback
- You are detail-oriented. The owner is known to be detail-oriented and is looking for someone who is better than him
- Great communicator both verbally and written
- Comfortable with using all sorts of technology
- Prefer the background vs. sales and meeting new customers
- Someone that is excited about a start-up
- Comfortable with a lesser salary but with expected earnings of $100,000+ through profit sharing that you help contribute to the business
