Sales Manager

An understanding of the metal fabrication industry, foam panels, and/or industrial HVAC equipment would be a terrific skill set for this position.
Compensation:
- $80,000-$90,000 Base Salary + Commission Range (No Cap)

Responsibilities of the Sales Manager :
- Generate revenue by building relationships in the Metal Fabrication/Construction/HVAC industries
- Build a successful sales pipeline
- Track, complete, and submit timely and accurate internal documentation, reports, and proposals
- Follow business planning and growth initiatives for achieving stated goals
- Develop and deliver clear and compelling presentations to prospective clients
- Collaborate with the leadership team (General Manager & Project Managers)
- Create day-to-day efficiencies to grow the business
- Develop comprehensive product knowledge to promote custom steel products
- Bring new and proven sales strategies and implement them with the team
- Attend weekly team meetings with production staff as needed
- Use a CRM to audit daily activities and track conversion rates
Qualifications of the Sales Manager:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of Sales experience
- Previous Sales Management experience a plus
- Must be a self-starter that thrives under limited supervision
- Internet/social networking experience is very helpful
- Must live locally
- Must be coachable and willing to learn
- Demonstrated ability in meeting sales objectives and goals
- Impeccable interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to make cold calls/effective prospecting
- Familiarity with marketing strategies and consumer psychology
- Industry-specific knowledge preferred
- Territory NC/SC within a 50 mile radius
