Job Summary: The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with a portfolio of assigned clients. The role involves managing client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities to grow revenue. The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and will work closely with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs.
Work Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the HVAC/Plumbing trade.
- Minimum 3 years account management experience.
- HVAC maintenance and installation.
- Sales training
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and client stakeholders.
- Client Account Growth:
- Identify and grow opportunities within client accounts to ensure growth attainment.
- Achieve sales targets and outcomes within a schedule.
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
- Client Support:
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations to service team as needed.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and objectives.
- Coordinate with internal team to deliver seamless client service and invoicing.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with sales team and operations managers to identify and grow opportunities.
- Arrange comprehensive turnover meetings with the internal service team to ensure all labor and material requirements are fulfilled.
- Provide feedback to the team on client needs and potential for new products and services.
- Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma, Sales Training preferred.
- Experience: 3 years account management experience.
- Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Work Environment: The role will typically be based in an office environment but may require travel to client locations.
