Job Description
As the Affiliate Marketing and Partnerships Manager, you'll be the face of the company to a variety of marketing partners. UPLIFT Desk is a $100M+ eCommerce company focused on growth, and you'll be a key part of that. You will be tasked with managing the affiliate marketing program, ensuring that we maintain strong relationships with our affiliates, influencers, creators, and content marketers. You will coordinate a variety of complex tasks, from spearheading new product campaigns to launching social media initiatives. This role will be responsible for strategic development and execution of digital marketing plans, proving performance metrics, and adjusting strategies to ensure optimal marketing spend. You will optimize our partnerships across both paid and unpaid media, focusing on both direct-to-consumer and business-to-business eCommerce channels. This position will allow for significant growth over time, and so you must be eager for new challenges and the pursuit of opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years direct experience managing Affiliate, Content, and/or Social Marketing programs, preferably at a retail brand or an agency
- Applicable bachelor's degree or commensurate experience
- Strong computer literacy and familiarity with G-suite (Google docs and spreadsheets) or similar software with the ability to track and report on key performance metrics
- Great character skills: willing to be a learning sponge and focus on growth
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing and growing an affiliate program with Impac or other programs.
- Working business knowledge of tag management, tracking pixels, data feeds, data collection and exchange (i.e., 1st and 3rd party data sources). Experience with multi-touch attribution and media mix models.
- Basic knowledge (or willingness to learn) other digital marketing channels (e.g., PPC, SEO, Display)
- Networker and Hustler: excited to reach out, form partnerships, build networks, and find the right deals.
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude who works effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills to manage an inbox efficiently
- You have experience prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and delivering them on-time while meeting performance goals.
What You’ll Do
- Responsible for affiliate strategy, account management and maintenance, including recruitment, placement planning and competitor audits
- Juggle communications across multiple platforms, in-person, virtually, and through social media
- Seek and develop creative new opportunities for partnerships that are aligned with our brand and will increase our reach, qualified traffic, and revenue.
- Plan monthly and quarterly promotions for our Affiliate partner offers. Provide our community with high value transformative content that drives site traffic and sales.
- Be results-driven and motivated with a non-negotiable commitment to exceeding goals and objectives.
- Respond to publisher inquiries and oversee affiliate newsletters for various campaigns
- Monitor account activity, analyze performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend ways to increase account-generated revenues. You will need to be forthright and open about what is and is not working.
- Communicate and monitor compliance or brand guidelines in the ever-changing digital marketing landscape
- Represent our brand at industry conferences and client meetings, both virtually and in-person
- Manage delivery of regular performance analysis for Paid Social and Affiliates programs, identifying areas of opportunity and messaging out key wins
- Arrange product reviews while working with Product Development team on new product launches and campaigns
- Work with internal and external resources on Advertisements, determine the return on investment, and optimize our marketing programs
- Identifying potential growth strategies and execute on marketing campaigns
- Work independently under minimal supervision. Resolve complex or unusual requests and problems that may require a customized response.
